Emails bb-sign sends

bb-sign keeps signers, administrators and users informed with automatic emails at every key moment of the process. This page lists all of them. Subjects are shown exactly as they are sent; {title} is the envelope title.

Envelope emails (invitations, codes, reminders, envelope completed, envelope expired and the webhook notice) are sent from sign@binarybridges.co. Account emails (invitation to the application, password reset and email verification) are sent from no-reply@binarybridges.co. If your organization filters incoming mail, ask your IT team to allow both addresses.

Reminders are sent once a day to signers whose invitation is older than 48 hours, with at most one every 24 hours per signer. The subjects of account emails are set by the identity service, which is why they appear in parentheses.

These moments are handled in the application or through webhooks:

  • Envelope completed. Whoever sent the envelope sees the completion in the application or receives it by webhook with the envelope.completed event.
  • Envelope cancelled. When you cancel an envelope, the link of pending signers stops being available. Let those signers know yourself. See Cancel an envelope.
  • Certificate expiry. Keep track of your organization’s certificate expiry date and renew it ahead of time. See Your own certificate.
