What bb-sign is

bb-sign is Binary Bridges’ electronic signature platform. With it, an organization sends documents for signature, identifies every signer, receives the documents sealed with its certificate and keeps complete evidence of the process. Sending and tracking envelopes is also available through an integration API.

The process is straightforward: you upload one or more PDFs, gather them in an envelope, say who must sign and send it. Each signer receives a link by email, reviews the documents, confirms their identity and signs. When the envelope completes, bb-sign seals every document and records the evidence.

The application is available at https://sign.binarybridges.co.

  • Integrity. Every signed document is sealed, and any later change is detected.
  • Identification. Each signer is identified by their email and, when the organization requires it, by a one-time verification code.
  • A record of what was accepted. What the signer saw and accepted is recorded with date and time.
  • Inconsistency detection. The audit chain lets you check that no event was inserted or removed afterwards.
  • Probative value. The evidence of the process (who, what, when and from where) can be consulted on each envelope.
  • Traceability. Every relevant action on an envelope is kept in its history.

bb-sign keeps signed documents and their evidence for a fixed period of 365 days; from then on, keeping them is the organization’s responsibility, as described in Scope and retention.

For each document’s seal to carry your organization’s name and for PDF readers to recognize it as trusted, we recommend configuring your own certificate.

Signers

You received an email asking you to sign a document and you have no account. Follow The signer’s path, which guides you from start to finish.

Organization users

You create envelopes, attach documents and send them for signature. Start with Your first envelope.

Administrators

You invite users, organize workspaces and configure the certificate, API credentials and webhooks. You will find it all in Administer the organization.

Each section is for one audience, shown in the badge at the top of every page. The Concepts explain the bb-sign model (organizations, workspaces, roles, envelopes, signers, seal and evidence) and are useful to everyone. The Legal section holds the terms of service and the retention policy.
