Storage
bb-sign keeps your organization’s documents for a fixed retention period and moves them over time to lower-cost storage tiers. The Storage page shows you those rules in read-only mode.
Who: organization admins, read-only; platform admins can change it. Where: Storage, in the sidebar.
What the page shows
Section titled “What the page shows”The Storage Lifecycle page has two parts:
- Configuration shows, in days, when files move to lower-cost storage tiers and the Object Expiration value.
- The rules list shows which files they apply to. The organization’s certificates are excluded: they do not expire.
This configuration is the same for every organization.
How long your documents are kept
Section titled “How long your documents are kept”| Stage | When |

Documents in archive storage are kept intact; retrieving them takes longer than a recent document. When the retention period ends, keeping the documents is your organization’s responsibility.
Who can change the configuration
Section titled “Who can change the configuration”Organization admins view the page. The Binary Bridges platform administrator is the one who can change the Object Expiration with the Apply button. The retention period is fixed and is not configured per organization.
