Users and invitations
You create the account of every person who uses bb-sign in your organization. The person receives an email, sets a password and signs in with their email address. Only the people you invite have access.
Who: organization admins and platform admins. Where: Users, in the sidebar.
Invite a person
Section titled “Invite a person”-
Press New User. The Create User form opens.
-
Enter the Username and Email and, optionally, the First Name and Last Name. The email identifies the person: the invitation goes there and they sign in with it.
-
Choose the Role. The Organization field already shows yours.
-
Press Create User. You see “User created successfully” and the person receives the email to set their password.
If “User created, but the set-up email could not be sent” appears, the account already exists. Use Resend invitation in its row instead of creating it again.
Choose the role
Section titled “Choose the role”| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Org Member | Create, edit and send envelopes, upload documents and set labels in the workspaces where they are Contributor or Manager. In the General workspace they are always a Contributor. Cancelling envelopes is for Managers and admins. |
| Org Admin | Every task in this section: users, workspaces, labels, credentials and webhooks. They see every envelope in every workspace. |
The accounts you create always belong to your organization. Each permission is detailed in the Permissions matrix.
The invitation link
Section titled “The invitation link”The invitation comes from no-reply@binarybridges.co with a link to set the
password, valid for 72 hours. If it expires, resend the
invitation; the account remains.
Resend an invitation
Section titled “Resend an invitation”Every row in the list has a Resend invitation button. The person receives a new email with a new link, and you see “Invitation email sent”. Use it when the link has expired or the person cannot find the email.
If “Could not send the invitation email” appears, wait a moment and try again.
Active and disabled accounts
Section titled “Active and disabled accounts”Every row shows Active or Disabled. A disabled account cannot sign in. To disable or re-enable an account, ask Binary Bridges support.
